Welcome to the site by a gringo for other gringos about Colombia. This site is dedicated to Colombia and and its peoples in order to inform the curious and the traveler with as much information as possible based on my experiences and the experiences of those I have befriended and link to in this effort. Perusing this site, you will see that it is not unique in the passionate attempt to spread the word and I invite you to follow the links to other's sites as they have put much effort into their work as well. That being said, this is my own personal effort that I attempt to keep updated with the latest information as often as possible just because I like doing it. The links below will assist you to my travel blog and of course, information resources. By far, the best way to learn about Colombia online or ask questions is via message boards, notably the popular Poor-But-Happy board. Other people's websites contain their own travel logs and photos to give you a glimpse of the cities and countryside. There is also a feedback form that you can use to let me know of any needed changes, updates and of course to link to your site if you should have one similar. *As a guide to this site, critical information will be marked in red and helpful information will be marked in green.
